GLENWOOD CITY – The Glenwood City Board of Education held a special meeting ahead of their Board retreat on Monday night to discuss two items.

The first item was to increase the summer painter hours by an additional 20 to make it a grand total of 200 hours that were paid.

The motion was approved due to a handful of projects still left within the school.

The last item was a staff resignation handed in by Cindy Fahser; Family and Consumer Science and Health Teacher. Fahser is also the F.C.C.L.A. advisor in the high school.

Her full-time position will be posted as a vacancy pending the approval of her other job offer.

Before the meeting adjourned, the Board approved the resignation and posting unanimously.
