Glenhaven Happenings – 7-30-2014

Last week the activities included Catholic communion, popcorn and a movie, exercises, manicures, baking club, church with United Methodist, bingo, gardening, arts and crafts and music entertainment by Jim Armstrong.

This week on Sunday there was Catholic communion and church with Grace Baptist.  On Tuesday there was church with United Methodist and the monthly birthday party and sing-a-long with Jane and Friends.  On Wednesday there will be bingo with St. John’s at 2:00 p.m.  On Saturday there will be music entertainment by Rich Schroeder at 2:00 p.m.  Next week on Monday, August 4th there will be a picnic for the residents at Doris Berends’ house at 11:00 a.m.  On Tuesday, August 5th there will be church with Trinity Lutheran at 10:30 a.m., Resident Council at 11:00 a.m. and music by the Heutmaker Band at 6:30 p.m.  On Wednesday, August 6th there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m.

Recent visitors: Ernie and Mary Kiekhoefer were visited by Peggy, Kaylee and Abby Raymond.  Etta Wiseman was visited by Jody Welke.  Delores Standaert was visited by Barb, Karen, Margaret, Marie Mahoney and Loran Standaert.  Clara Wickenhauser was visited by Tom, Kay and Becky Klinger and Delores Thompson.  Louise Ullom was visited by Dennis and Vicki Ullom.  Teresa Miller was visited by Bob Miller and Tom and Mary Miller.  Lloyd Holten was visited by Pam and Vicky.  Cathy Davis was visited by Alison Fjeld.  Jo Maes was visited by Melinda Cossin, Pam Steies and Gary Maes.  Annella Frank was visited by Diane Klatt.  Doris Teigen was visited by Delores Thompson.
