Glenhaven Happenings – 5-12-2014

Last week the activities included Catholic communion, popcorn and a movie, exercises, baking club, manicures, church with Trinity Lutheran, Resident Council, card club, the Heutmaker Band, bingo, student council visits, arts and crafts, Catholic Mass, the Mother’s Day Tea, music entertainment by Blue Sky Musicians and music by Dale Martel.

 

 This week on Monday began the celebration of Nursing Home Week. Monday was Pink Day and Tuesday was Orange Day. Wednesday will be Yellow Day and at 2:00 p.m. there will be bingo with Holy Cross. On Thursday it will be Red Day. On Friday it will be Hawaiian Day and the residents will be doing various activities that reflect the Hawaiian Islands. On Saturday there will be music by Herb Nazer at 2:00 p.m. Next week on Tuesday, May 20th there will be church with Forest Immanuel at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday, May 21st there will be bingo at 2:00 p.m.

Teresa Miller was visited by Bob Miller, Tom and Mary Miller, Roger and Sue Miller and the Radintz Family. Erleen Schmidt was visited by Karetta and Dale Horky, Shaley and Ang Millin and Tiffany and Jeff Millin. Louise Ullom was visited by Susan Klatt, Dennis and Vicki Ullom and the Radintz Family. Josephine Maes was visited by Melinda Cossin, Mary Lapp and Pam Steies. Lloyd Holten was visited by Pam, Vicky and Mark.
