Glenhaven Happenings – 4-30-2014

Last week the activities included Catholic communion, exercises, manicures, church with United Methodist, bingo, arts and crafts, the Spring Luncheon, and music entertainment by Dale Martel.

This week on Sunday there was Catholic communion and church with Grace Baptist.  On Tuesday there was church with United Methodist in the morning and in the afternoon Jane and Friends were here to celebrate the monthly birthday party.  On Wednesday there will be bingo with St. John’s at 2:00 p.m.  Next week on Tuesday, May 6th there will be church with Trinity Lutheran at 10:30 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. the Heutmaker Band will be here.  On Thursday, May 8th the Student Council will be visiting at 10:00 a.m.  On Friday, May 9th the residents will be celebrating Mother’s Day by having a tea at 2:00 p.m.  On Saturday, May 10th there will be music by Dale Martel at 2:00 p.m.

Recent visitors: Etta Wiseman was visited by Char Ovren, Jody Welke and Kelly and Kendall.  Josephine Maes was visited by Janet and Duane Christianson, Pam Steies and Melinda Cossin.  Eileen Brantner was visited by Carlyle and Ruth Gilbertson and Steve and Lynn Brantner.  Edith Johnson was visited by Larry and Denise Johnson.  Jane Smith was visited by Elaine Hoff, Dorothy Smith and Rosemary Springer.  Annella Frank was visited by Marilyn Olson, Diane Klatt, Jean Fuhrman Frank and Char Gregor.  Delores Standaert was visited by Barb and Loran Standaert and Mike and Amie Standaert.  Lloyd Holten was visited by Pam and Vicky.   Louise Ullom was visited by Dennis Ullom and Jessica.  Teresa Miller was visited by Janet DeLong, Bob Miller, Tom and Mary Miller and Roger and Sue Miller.  Clara Wickenhauser was visited by Bobbie Berends, Mary Lundquist, Tom Chicilo and Tom and Kay Klinger.
