Glenhaven Happenings – 10-30-2013
Last week the activities included Catholic communion, church with Christ the King Lutheran, exercises, manicures, baking club, church with United Methodist, pumpkin carving, baking pumpkin seeds, bingo with Holy Cross, homemade pretzels, and music entertainment by Dale Martel.
This week there was Catholic communion, bingo, and church with Grace Baptist on Sunday. On Tuesday there was church with United Methodist and the monthly birthday party with Jane and Friends. On Wednesday there will be bingo with St. John’s at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday the residents will be having a Halloween party at 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. they will be handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. On Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the front lobby of Glenhaven there will be a coffee social and bake sale held by the Auxiliary. The coffee social and bake sale is also on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Next week on Sunday, November 3rd the Heutmaker Band will be here to entertain at 1:30 p.m. On Tuesday, November 5th there will be church with Trinity Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. On Friday, November 8th there will be Catholic Mass at 10:00 a.m.
