Alzen family to present concert at Christ the King Lutheran Church

The Alzen Family from Roberts, WI will present a musical concert at Christ the King Lutheran Church of Wilson on Sunday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. The Alzen’s enjoy making old-time toe-tapping music together and sharing it with friends.  They play gospel bluegrass music the whole family can enjoy.

The Alzen Family consists of Brad (dad) on rhythm guitar, Denise (mom) on harmonica, and six children: Isaac on upright bass, Lucas on whiz-bang, AnaLise on mandolin, fiddle & guitar, and Tessa on fiddle, banjo & dobro.  Jacob is learning the bass and Jonas isn’t sure yet what instrument suits him best.   Each family member sings, and the variation from Isaac’s deep bass voice to Tessa’s sweet alto to AnaLise’s powerful soprano provides great variety and interest in their music.

The Alzen Family plays at bluegrass and gospel festivals, county fairs, churches, community events, and private gatherings.   Their shows consist of gospel bluegrass songs, fiddle tunes, acapella songs, and some Celtic music and silly songs for children.   The Alzens are grateful for the opportunity to sing and share in front of people. Their chief aim is to share the hope they have in Jesus Christ, and His saving grace. To learn more, please visit the Alzen Family website at www.alzenfamily.com.
