GLENWOOD CITY — This year marks a special Homecoming week in Glenwood City as the volunteers who dedicated countless hours and days to the capital projects will be recognized at the game Friday night with a tailgate party at 5:00 p.m. and then fireworks following the game.
The “Thank You to Our Volunteers” tailgate party will feature a variety of foods that were donated from Kessler Food Processing and KLN Family Brand and the fireworks were sponsored by River Valley Ford.
To kick off the week of festivities, Kayla Bloss and Jake Carlson were chosen on Monday morning as the Homecoming Queen and King. The week will follow with the traditional dress-up days, powder puff football and Friday afternoon pep fest.
