BHS welcomes Kaitlyn Peot

BOYCEVILLE — The Boyceville High School recently welcomed Kaitlyn Peot to their staff as she is the newest 7-12th grade English Teacher.

Peot grew up roughly four hours from here in the city of Sun Prairie and she graduated from the Sun Prairie High School.

She began her journey to teaching after she enrolled at UW-Eau Claire, which is where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Education at the Secondary level.

“When I was in high school I could just picture myself being an English teacher. I enjoyed being in the classroom and working with students so it seemed like the perfect for it,” said Peot.

Kaitlyn shared that she likes to be involved in things at school and looks forward to helping out with different things. She also enjoys working with crafts and spending time with her new kittens, Eiko and Evvy.
