Shannon Bignell returns to TCE

BOYCEVILLE – Shannon Bignell is the new face in third grade at Tiffany Creek Elementary this year. However, she isn’t quite “new” as she has actually taught for over ten years in the elementary.

Bignell started her teaching career in the Early Learning Center at Boyceville in 1999. She spent some time shuffling around the elementary as she was a third grade teacher, then back in the ELC, then in first grade and finally back to third.

Shannon left Boyceville recently as she spent two years at the Eau Claire Area School District where she did literacy coaching.

“I explored another educational avenue as I began working toward my reading specialist licensure and I still hope to complete that degree within the next two years,” said Bignell.

Shannon shared that she is feeling happy and lucky to be back in the community that feels so much like home to her.
