BOYCEVILLE – Recent graduate of Boyceville High School, Will Kraft, was selected to play in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Game that was last Saturday, July 20.
Nominations for this game had to be submitted back in December of 2012 and it was announced in February that Kraft and the Bulldog’s head coach, Brian Roemhild, would each be a part of the All-Star game at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.
The two were a part of the “North Small” team, which featured schools from areas like Clayton, Prescott, Cumberland, Eau Claire Regis and Federic. They competed against the “South Small” team, which had players from areas like Arcadia, East Troy and Cuba City.
The game kicked off at noon with the North Small team winning by a single point in a 20-19 final. This is the first time that team has won a game since the North and South split into small and large.
Kraft played outside linebacker on a 3-4 defense, which limited his tackles and rushes on the quarterback, but regardless he was active for several snaps.
