Local bowlers compete in Reno

GLENWOOD CITY — During the weekend of April 12-13, local bowlers including Dan Klatt, Dan Delong, Bruce Peterson, Roger Ludtke, Frank Stout and Mike Wink traveled to Reno, Nevada where they competed in the USBC Championships.

The “Leaker’s Place 1” team bowled quite well overall as they are currently sitting in the top 40 out of roughly 2,000 teams.

Also achieving a very impressive feat was Dan Delong, who rolled a 641 in Classic Singles, which landed him in second place, as of right now, out of several thousand bowlers.

Ludtke was also recognized for his dedication as he has competed at the USBC Championships for 35 years now.
