Glenhaven/Havenwood Happenings – 2-13-2013
Last week the activities at Glenhaven included Catholic communion, the Heutmaker Band, manicures, exercises, baking club, resident council, book club, bingo, pet visits with Carol, Catholic Mass, and miniature horse visits with Jeanne Murphy.
This week on Sunday there was Catholic communion and church with Christ the King Lutheran. On Tuesday there was church with Holy Cross. On Wednesday there will be an Ash Wednesday service with United Methodist at 10:30 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. there will be bingo with Holy Cross. On Thursday, Wayne Peterson will be bringing in his Valentine collection, Elvis will be entertaining at 2:00 p.m., and the crowning of Glenhaven royalty will be afterwards. From 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic church basement there will be a Sweet Heart’s Dinner held to raise money for the new building project. On Saturday there will be music entertainment by Herb Nazer at 2:00 p.m.
Next week on Sunday, February 17th there will be Catholic communion at 10:40 a.m. On Monday, February 18th there will be student council visits at 10:00 a.m. On Tuesday, February 19th there will be church with Forest Emmanuel at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday, February 20th there will be Lenten service with Holy Cross at 10:30 a.m. On Saturday, February 23rd there will be accordion music by Diane Petranovich at 2:00 p.m.
