Card of Thanks – Loretta Cassellius Family

Only in Glenwood City could this past week have run so smoothly for the Cassellius family.

Everyone was so helpful and caring and knew what had to get done. Dean Anderson of Anderson Funeral Home was very knowledgeable and helped us through the process so well. Deacon Wes Tuttle helped us with many details including contacting Fr. Fraher, who Mother admired, for her mass. Thank you Marian Schmitz and the funeral choir for giving of your time to help celebrate Loretta’s life through song. Also, thank you, Ralph Thompson, for the beautiful solos you sang for your old neighbor. The church ladies baked the desserts and served the phenomenal meal prepared by Ruth Hurtgen. We took ideas to Carole Schurtz at the Tribune and she transformed them into a wonderful program with such expertise. Together we all truly created a day of celebration of Loretta’s life. We are so thankful to everyone for their talent and loving help.  It is so nice working with lifelong friends and neighbors in a warm and friendly small town like Glenwood City.
