Glenhaven/Havenwood Happenings – 12-12-2012

Last week at Glenhaven the activities included Catholic communion, the Care Tree Lighting, Senior Shop, manicures, church with Trinity Lutheran, resident council, book club, Advent service with Holy Cross, bingo with Forest Methodist, baking club, music entertainment by Dale Blanshan, and Christmas caroling by the Connorsville Comets.

This week on Sunday there was Catholic communion, the Heutmaker Band, and church with Christ the King Lutheran. On Monday there was bingo with the boy scouts at 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday there will be Advent service with Holy Cross at 10:30 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. there will be bingo with Holy Cross. On Friday there will be Catholic Mass at 10:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. the residents will be making Christmas cookies. On Saturday there will be music entertainment by Herb Nazer at 2:00 p.m. Next week on Sunday, December 16th there will be Catholic communion at 10:40 a.m. and at 5:30 p.m. people are coming in to sing carols to the residents. On Monday, December 17th there will be Student Council visits at 10:00 a.m. On Tuesday, December 18th there will be church with Forest Emmanuel at 10:30 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. there will be the monthly birthday party and sing-a-long with Jane and Friends. On Wednesday, December 19th there will be Advent service with Holy Cross at 10:30 a.m. On Friday, December 21st there will be entertainment by Roger and Helen Stansbury at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, December 22nd there will be accordion music by Diane Petranovich at 2:00 p.m.

Gen Leier was visited by Don Leier. Milnor Johnson was visited by Pat, Joe, and Marvin and Luane Johnson. Annella Frank was visited by Diane Klatt, Raquel and Char, and Marilyn Olson. Dorothy Moe was visited by Tom, John, and Tim Moe, Junalee Hogenson, Jared, Deb, and Kayla Moe, Marrietta Schug, Gary Danovsky, Roy and Kathy Moe, and Illa Nitchey.
