GC Royalty has busy autumn

Since being crowned in September, the 2012-2013 Miss Glenwood City Royalty has been busy attending parades, coronations, teas and other community events.

 We started the year off in September making appearances in Amery and Spring Valley. In October we went to Baldwin’s Spooky Hollow’s Light-up Ceremony where we took 1st place in the pumpkin carving contest. On October 24th, the court served refreshments at a benefit for fellow classmate, Cody Varney. We visited the Glenwood Orchard where we took fall pictures and we participated in the Anoka Halloween parade. In November we attended the Crowning Achievements annual pageant for men and women with special needs. Recently we attended the holiday parades in River Falls and Durand.  We look forward to the upcoming holiday celebrations in Glenwood City making many more memories and meeting many more people.
