Glenwood City Girl Scouts participate in Centennial Day of Service Oct. 13
In celebration of 100 years of Girl Scouting, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys participated in the Centennial Day of Service Take Action Project on Saturday, October 13.
The Glenwood City Girl Scouts including Daisies (K-1), Brownies (2-3), Juniors (4-5), Cadettes (6-8), and Ambassadors (11-12) raked leaves at the United Methodist Church, Historical Center, Old City Hall, Glenhaven, St. John’s Catholic Church, and Holy Cross Lutheran Church. The Cadettes and Ambassadors painted storm drains around Glenwood City and distributed door hangers to inform the public about what goes down storm drains ends up in our local rivers and lakes.
