A rural Glenwood City man died as the results of being entangled in a “round baler”.
Officers from the St. Croix County Sheriff’s office and members of the Glenwood City EMS and Fire Department were called to a farm field at 2943 County Highway G in the Town of Glenwood at 9:26 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21. Apparently the man had got caught in the baler some time earlier. The County Medical Examiner was called to the scene and the victim was identified as Walter Juneau, age 47, of Glenwood City.
This accident Tuesday night happened just a very short distance from an accident site the day before that took the life of Steve Berends, when the truck he was driving struck a tree.
