Last week at Glenhaven the activities included Catholic communion, exercises, manicures, a picnic at Doris Berends’ house, church with Forest Emmanuel, book club, bingo, gardening, and popcorn and a movie.
This week on Sunday there was Catholic communion and church with Grace Baptist. On Monday the residents made homemade doughnuts in baking club. On Tuesday there was church with United Methodist in the morning and in the afternoon the residents celebrated August birthdays by having the monthly birthday party and sing-a-long with Jane and Friends. On Wednesday there will be bingo with St. John’s at 2:00 p.m. Next week on Monday, September 3rd there will be entertainment by Jack Sampson at 2:00 p.m. On Tuesday, September 4th there will be church with Trinity Lutheran at 10:30 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. the Heutmaker Band will be coming in to entertain the residents. On Wednesday, September 5th there will be bingo with Forest Methodist at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday, September 6th there will be a sing-a-long with Jerry at 2:00 p.m. On Friday, September 7th there will be Catholic communion at 10:00 a.m. On Sunday, September 9th the residents will be able to watch the Rustic Lore parade starting at 1:00 p.m.

Ella Ohman was visited by Garry Dettmann, Jane Dettmann, Steve Johnson, Denny and Margaret Ohman, and Rueben and Janet Dettmann. Dorothy Moe was visited by Junalee Hogenson, Mary Brandt, Fred and Illa Nitchey, Beverly Brooke, Rex and Janet Brandt, Tom, Tim, and John Moe, Marlys Fahl, Marrietta Schug, Olivia Buhr, Jennifer Moe, Sarah Hoefer, and Gary Danovsky. Jim Knopps was visited by Paul and Julie Greene. Marge Kennedy was visited by Tom and Kay Klinger. Gen Leier was visited by Don Leier. Florence Sutliff was visited by Lois Bain. Dorothy Krueger was visited by Jeanne Schillinger and Karla Malean. Margaret Duval was visited by Jack and Kathy Duval.
