COLFAX — All together, 23 Colfax High School seniors received scholarships and recognitions at the senior awards program May 1.
Here are the students, listed in alphabetical order:
• Elizabeth Affolter — Herb Kohl Foundation Student Initiative Scholarship for $10,000; United Recyclers Group scholarship for $500; recognition as a senior mentor for younger students.
• Dalton Bradford — The Soaring Eagle Scholarship from UW-LaCrosse for $2,000; Marvel Wangensteen Entzminger Memorial Scholarship for $700; Powerlifters of Wisconsin Scholarship for $500; Dunn County Barbershoppers Scholarship for $300; American Family Insurance Scholarship for $250; recognition as a senior mentor for younger students.
• Alyssa Dachel — The Anne Marie Foundation Scholarship for $2,000; Dunn Energy Scholarship for $1,000; Menomonie Lions Club Scholarship for $1,000; the Asplund Family Scholarship/Dunn County Rotary Club for $1,000; Mayo Health Systems Chippewa Valley Scholarship with no amount announced; Dairy State Bank Scholarship for $500; Colfax Kiwanis Scholarship for $500; Marlin Raveling Scholarship for $200; Basketball Player Award for $150; Menomonie Optimists Youth for May; Bremer Youth of the Month for March.
• Kaitlyn Field — Commercial Testing Scholarship with no amount announced; recognition as a senior mentor for younger students.
• Jacob Friederes — American Family Insurance Scholarship for $250.
• Brett Foyt — Kyle’s Market Scholarship for $500.
• Savannah Henricks — Basketball Player Award for $150.
• Emma Hurlburt — Bremer Youth of the Month for May; Basketball Player Award for $150.
• Erica Kallstrom — Derek Horn Memorial Scholarship for $1,000; Century 21 Scholarship for $500; Bremer Scholarship for $500; Megan Robertson Walck Music Scholarship for $500; Basketball Player Award for $150; Bremer Youth of the Month for February.
• Abby Klueckmann — Dunn Energy Scholarship for $1,000.
• Rachel Knutson — Hilson Family Trust Scholarship for $6,000 per year, renewable for four years; Colfax Sno-drifters Scholarship for $250; American Red Cross Scholarship for $250; Basketball Player Award for $150; Menomonie Optimists Club Youth for March; Bremer Youth of the Month for April; recognition as a senior mentor for younger students.

• Tanner Nierenhausen — Milwaukee School of Engineering Scholarship for $34,000 per year, renewable for four years; the Mayo Clinic Dependent Scholarship for $3,000 per year, renewable for four years; Kyle’s Market Scholarship for $500; CTL Foods Scholarship with no amount announced.
• Hailey Prince — Chippewa Valley Technical College, Eau Claire, Technical Excellence Scholarship for $2,250 per year, renewable for three years; Catalytic Combustion Group Scholarship for $500; Colfax Sno-drifters Scholarship for $250; 1st Lt.
