State Assembly Representative Rob Stafsholt to speak with Glenwood citizens
GLENWOOD CITY – Rob Stafsholt, the state assembly representative for District 29, will be visiting Glenwood City on June 27th at 7:00 p.m. to discuss local concerns and hear citizen comments. The event will be held at the Glenwood City Community Center, located at 217 W Oak Street. Stafsholt’s office originally contacted the Glenwood City’s Chamber of Commerce asking to speak to local business owners about business concerns. When asked if the event could be open to any member of the public, he promptly obliged and agreed to hear any comments area residents might have for him.
Stafsholt has been serving as a district representative since 2017 and will be running for re-election for another two-year term on November 6th.
District 29 covers an oblong-shaped area including New Richmond, Woodville, Baldwin, Boyceville, Menomonie, and of course Glenwood City as well as several villages and area townships. All residents of the district are welcome and encouraged to attend for an evening of listening and respectful discourse on local issues.
This event is being coordinated by the Glenwood City Chamber of Commerce as well as the Uncommon Conversations group who will be hosting safe childcare for families with young children.
