RACINE – Foxconn Technology Group released the following Veterans Day statement on November 11, pledging to recruit veterans at new facility in the wake of Friday’s contract signing: 

“Foxconn looks forward to being a part of the Wisconsin community and delivering on the commitments that we have made to the state and the people of Wisconsin. In line with that pledge, and in support of Governor Scott Walker’s goal of enabling employment of veterans, we will recruit veterans among the new employees we will be hiring for the Wisconsin campus. These employees will be critical to our efforts to create thousands of additional jobs, an extensive supply chain and an 8K+5G ecosystem that will position Wisconsin as a center for high-tech manufacturing. We will announce our recruitment plans and related timetable in the coming months.”
