Elk Mound students attend WASC leadership camp

ELK MOUND — Elk Mound sophomores Kristin Martinson and Kendall Nigon recently attended WASC Leadership Camp.

The Wisconsin Association of School Councils is widely considered as one of the strongest student leadership organizations in the country.

Students were challenged to change themselves, change their communities and change the world. The camp teaches participants to develop interpersonal skills, group processes, problem solving techniques and planning and evaluation procedures.

This was Kristin’s third year attending at Ripon College in Ripon. 

Kendall attended Edgewood College at Madison for his fourth year. 

Both students are actively involved in many leadership positions at Elk Mound High School.
