Schleusner to attend National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine
Megan Schleusner has received her second nomination to attend an additional medical camp to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. This adventure will take her to Washington, DC.
This extraordinary National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine will showcase the fields of health and medicine and the many career opportunities that exist in these areas. Schleusner will gain hands-on experience and valuable insight from health care professionals along with enhancing her current leadership skills.
Hundreds of outstanding physicians-such as Dr. Mary Youth, Director of Infectious Diseases, Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Warner Greene, Director of the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology and many others. During nine days of first hand experiences in a motivating and challenging environment, students will examine state-of –the-art-diagnostic tools and future medical specialties in detail and will gain a valuable head start toward the careers and successes they dream of achieving.
