Russell-Toycen Post 131 to participate in Memorial Day activities at Sand Creek, Colfax

Members of the Russell-Toycen Post 131, American Legion, Colfax, will meet at 8 a.m. May 26 in the Colfax High School parking lot to travel to Sand Creek for that community’s Memorial Day ceremonies.

At 10:30 a.m., there will be a parade from Colfax High School to Evergreen Cemetery for an 11 a.m. program. A trailer will be available for Legion and Auxiliary members.

Also participating in the parade will be the bands from Colfax High School and Colfax Middle School, as well as local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
