Colfax golfers compete at SCC and Spring Valley
Three matches were scheduled last week but only two were played as the Colfax golf team placed sixth in a conference meet Monday at St. Croix Central and sixth again at Spring Valley the following day. Stormy weather hit the area once again, forcing a postponement of the Thursday meet which was supposed to be at Spring Valley again.

Trey Gullickson continues to play consistent golf for the Vikings as he had the low score for the team with a round of 51 for the day while Trevor Seston finished a stroke behind at 52. Bryce Fransway and Andrew Buckley ended their day with an 81, and Trenton Anderson finished with an 87. Although Glenwood City continues to dominate teamwise by winning yet another meet, Mondovi golfer Hayden Ford was the medalist with a 39.
“We had a difficult time on the greens with both our putting and chipping game,” coach Vince Ross remarked.
