Meat raffle fundraiser to benefit local Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Connorsville, WI – The Glen Hills Lions Club is excited to announce a special fundraising event during the month of March, a Meat Raffle, to benefit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing beds for children in need. The kick-off to this month long event will take place at The Blind Spot, located at E1305 1260th Avenue, Boyceville, Wisconsin, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This fun-filled evening will feature premium meat from South Fork Beef, with all proceeds going directly to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a variety of high-quality meats while supporting a great cause that ensures children in need receive a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

“This event is a fantastic way for our community to come together, have fun, and make a meaningful impact,” said Steve McMartin, Glen Hills Lions Club President. “Every paddle purchased contributes to giving a child a good night’s sleep.”  All proceeds will stay with a local chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
