Dunn County ballots have candidates for Wisconsin Assembly Dist. 67 and Dist. 92

MENOMONIE — The November 5 general election in Dunn County has candidates on the ballot for Wisconsin Assembly District 67 and District 92, which now have different boundaries after the legislative maps were redrawn.
District 67
State Assembly District 67 in Dunn County covers the Towns of Colfax, Grant, Hay River, New Haven, Otter Creek, Sand Creek, Sheridan, Sherman, Tainter, Tiffany and Wilson, along with the Villages of Boyceville, Colfax, Ridgeland and Wheeler.
The Democratic candidate for the 67th Assembly District is Jeff Foster of Colfax.
Foster earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications at UW-Milwaukee and went to graduate school at UW-Milwaukee for social work. He earned an MBA from UW-Oshkosh. He is a dairy farmer and the co-founder and first president of the Wisconsin Sheep Dairy Cooperative.
David Armstrong is the Republican candidate on the ballot.
Armstrong, of Rice Lake, previously served as the representative for Assembly District 75 before his district became the 67th Assembly District.
He has served on a variety of committees in the Assembly, including Housing and Real Estate; Jobs, Economy and Small Business Development; Rural Development; Ways and Means; Workforce Development and Economic Opportunities; and Legislative Council Study Committee on the Regulation of Artificial Intelligence in Wisconsin.
District 92
Wisconsin Assembly District 92 in Dunn County includes the Towns of Elk Mound and Red Cedar, along with the Village of Elk Mound and the entire City of Menomonie.
The Democratic candidate in the November 5 general election is Joe Plouff.
Plouff, a Menomonie resident, served in the Wisconsin Assembly for eight years in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He is a veteran of the United States Army.
Currently he volunteers at the Dunn County Historical Society. He has served on the Menomonie City Council and on the Dunn County Board. He and his wife, Lavonne Solem, have lived in western Wisconsin for 46 years.
The Republican candidate on the ballot November 5 for District 92 is Clint Moses.
Moses, of Menomonie, previously served as the representative for Assembly District 29 before the district changed when the legislative maps were redrawn, and the location of his residence is now included in District 92.
He has served on a number of committees: Agriculture, Colleges and Universities; Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation; Health, Aging and Long-Term Care (chair); Rural Development and State Affairs.
