A small group of runners from Colfax competed at the Cadott Invite Sept. 24 and again at a Friday night race in Marshfield three days later.
Kaysen Goodell led the girls in both races, placing ninth in Cadott with a time of 21:33 and placing 12th in the Marshfield race. Hannah Peterson was 15th at Cadott in 22:08 but did not run at Marshfield. Lauren Becker competed in both contests, placing 43rd in Cadott at 24:44 and ran her personal best time of her high school career in Marshfield. There were 102 runners in the Cadott meet which was won by Leah Harper of Phillips in 20:02.
Isaiah Entzminger finished in 34th place at the Cadott meet in 19:28 while teammate Grant Palewicz was 39th in 19:43. Charlie Charbonneau was 51st in 20:23 and Logan Swartz was 84th at 21:48. 136 boys competed in the race which was won by Gavin Esterholm of Phillips in 16:48.
Charbonneau was 38th in Marshfield while Swartz also competed.
