COLFAX — The Viking volleyball team opened the 2024 season at home on Tuesday, August 27 where they hosted Tri-County, Ellsworth and Clayton in a quadrangular meet.
Colfax finished 2-1 in the meet.
The Vikings defeated both Clayton and Ellsworth two sets to one but fell in two straight sets (15-25 and 14-25) to Tri-County, a member of the Central Wisconsin South Conference.
There were no scores available for the Clayton and Ellsworth matches. Also, team and individual statistics were not emailed to the Messenger or available online.
Colfax hosted a triangular with Bloomer and Menomonie yesterday, September 3. The Vikings will then welcome Somerset for a non-conference match next Tuesday, September 10.
