Winter fun day Feb. 3 at Colfax Red Cedar Preserve and Recreation Area
COLFAX — A winter fun day of snowshoeing will take place at the Colfax Red Cedar Preserve and Recreation Area on Saturday, February 3.
Guided children’s and adult snowshoe hikes will be offered during the event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
You can also explore the Preserve on your own, if you wish.
Throughout the event, there will be a bonfire along with s’mores and hot cocoa.
The winter fun day is free and open to the public.
Snowshoes will be available courtesy of Mayo Clinic.

The Colfax Red Cedar Preserve and Recreation Area covers 145.7 acres and has a two-mile long hiking trail around Ferry Pond and around the perimeter of the property.
CRCPRA is located on state Highway 170 along the Red Cedar River directly north of Colfax and east of County Highway M in the Town of Colfax across the road from Felland Park.
