The Tribune Press Reporter received a couple of phone calls on Monday morning informing us that in Saturday’s mail was a second property tax bill to Boyceville property owners, and that statement was marked “Corrected.”
The following is a statement from Brittany Halvorson, the Village of Boyceville Clerk-Treasurer which stated: “Boyceville residents recently received two tax bills in the mail, the most recent indicating that it was a corrected bill, and to use the revised bill amount to pay your Property Taxes. This happened due to a miscalculation in the initial bills that were sent out to village residents. After speaking with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue and the Dunn County Treasurer, the village was advised to recalculate property tax bills to include our Tax Incremental Districts (TID).
