THE BOYCEVILLE FFA competed in the Amery FFA volleyball tournament held on Tuesday, November 9th at Amery High School. Eighteen Boyceville FFA members attended, making three competing teams. One team, consisting of Ali McRoberts, Andrea Jensen, Chase Hollister, Simon Evenson, Olivia Ponath and Kaitlyn Mittlestadt, won the tournament defeating Flambeau FFA in double elimination. Other FFA chapters in attendance included Amery, Cameron, Bloomer, Osceola, Spooner, Flambeau, and Cumberland. Boyceville took home the highly sought after traveling trophy; a 45-year-old mounted raccoon, which will be back up for grabs in the 2022 Amery tournament. —photo submitted
