No Poppy Day this year

Because of ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the Russell-Toycen Post 131 American Legion Auxiliary of Colfax has decided to cancel Poppy Day this year.

Auxiliary members decided not to distribute poppies and ask for donations since many businesses have suffered economic losses over the past year because of the pandemic, said Kathy Dunbar, Auxiliary president.
