Thomas John Vener

Thomas John Vener, 66, of Glenwood City, WI, passed away on April 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born on November 6, 1958, to Robert and Darlene (Lesser) Vener, Tom grew up alongside his two younger brothers, Rod and Ken.

Tom had a deep love for nature, motorcycles, and the open road, but above all, he treasured his family. In 1991, he met the love of his life, Beverly, at their shared workplace. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising two children, Thomas and Valerie. In 2009, Tom was blessed with the birth of his granddaughter, Tianna, whom he adored and spent countless cherished moments with.

In his later years, Tom found immense joy in spoiling his granddaughter, sharing quality time with his close family and friends, and exploring the outdoors with Bev by his side. His kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife Bev; his mother, Darlene; brothers, Rod and Ken; children, Thomas and Valerie; son-in-law, Colin; granddaughter, Tianna; and many dear uncles, aunts, nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.

While his departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those he touched, his family finds comfort in their shared memories, their love for one another, and the lasting imprint he left on their hearts.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Anderson Funeral Home, Glenwood City, WI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Boyceville, WI on Saturday, May 3rd at noon. A viewing will be held beginning two hours prior to Mass. Tom will be laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood City, WI following the service.
