It’s with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael “Mike” John Kouba, age 50, on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Mike was born in Kenosha, WI, on October 15, 1974, to Mark and Barbara (Pagenkopf) Kouba. The family moved to Chippewa Falls in 1979. Mike graduated from Elk Mound High School in 1993. In November 2003 he married Ann Drinkman.

Mike is survived by his wife; Ann (Drinkman) Kouba; children, Jack and Raylee; mother, Barbara (Joe) Kouba-Prewitt; father, Mark (Pat) Kouba; brother, Tom (Amy Doman) Kouba; nephew, Carter; grandmother; Mary Pagenkopf; in-laws, niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Clarence and Helen Kouba and Walter Pagenkopf.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church, 6118 County Hwy M, Elk Mound, WI, with Pastor Hal A Schroetter officiating. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. up until time of service at the church. Interment will take place at the Big Elk Creek Lutheran Cemetery.
