Sioux Creek Golf Course has achieved a significant milestone by being named the Best 9-Hole Course in Wisconsin for Appearance and Maintenance. This prestigious award, bestowed by the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin, recognizes the exceptional work of the course’s dedicated staff.

“We are incredibly honored to receive this award,” said Bruce Halvorson, Co-Owner at Sioux Creek. “Brad, Marlo and I have been very fortunate to have such a great staff.”

The course’s journey began in the early 1990s when Lee Johnson and Rita Hong, designers and former owners of Sioux Creek, purchased the idyllic property. “Honestly, it feels like we are accepting the award on behalf of Lee and Rita,” added Halvorson. “The course still sees the benefits of their vision and hard work.”

The award ceremony in Milwaukee was a celebration of golf excellence.
