Raymond L. Crane

Raymond L. Crane, age 63, of Wheeler, WI passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024 at his home. He was born April 8, 1961 in Menomonie, WI to Myron Crane and Betty (McIntyre) Crane.

He grew up in the Wheeler area and graduated from Boyceville High School. Raymond attended college in the state of Washington, where he was a student of history and had great recall of dates and historical events. While in Washington, he enjoyed visiting with his relatives out west.

Raymond had many interests. He liked spending his time outside gardening and farming; his favorite part was watching how the plants would grow. Raymond loved animals, listening to classic rock music, watching westen movies and sports, along with reading.

He is survived by his mother Betty Crane of Wheeler; brother Merle (Beverly) Crane of Barron; sister Myrna (Bob) Prinsen of Menomonie; brother-in-law Rod Flug of Chetek. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father Myron Crane; sisters Myra Flug and Leila Krosnoski, and his nephew Matthew Crane.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024 at New Life Church of the Nazarene in Wheeler, WI with Pastor Kevin Hagen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Hay River Cemetery in the town of Hay River, Dunn County, WI.
