Will there ever be peace on earth?

Last week with all the protest on going at places of higher education, the thought I had was about the Nobel Peace Prize and the work done by those people trying to strive for a world free of wars.

But, those students who shout “death to Israel, death to Jews, death to America” are just asking for more violence and encouraging those Jew haters to further their death and destruction menu.

Love America, or get out, is my feelings and those protesters that have been ongoing at New York’s Columbia University are reminiscent of the demonstration against the Vietnam War more than 50 years ago.

I am all for deconstructions, except voicing death and destruction is not the way to achieve a goal. It would be better if one rolled up their sleeves and carried a banner promoting peace and love.

As I watched the ongoing events last week and interviews with students I was appalled when I learned that students that are Jewish were penalized in their grades at Columbia University.

I looked up the list of people that have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s a list of many well-known people including four presidents of the United States, like Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Carter, and Barack Obama. I think that 22 Americans have received the prize since its was started in 1901. Some of those include Henry Kissinger, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Al Gore.

I would like to tell you about another name that is not known to many of you that has received the Peace Prize and that name is Jody Williams. Williams received the Peace Prize in 1997. She shared the award with an organization called the International Campaign to Ban Landmines.

Another event that we should address is that all Democratic Senators voted to dismiss articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas last week. That reinforces my belief that the Democratic Party approves of letting all the bad people cross our border and that we have seen an increase in drugs deaths, more thieves, murders, and placed a financial burden on local cities and states. Mayorkas was accused of not upholding the law over the influx of illegal immigrants at the southern border.

I think that most of these illegal immigrants are just people and families that are looking to improve their lives and live the American Dream.

But, we need to know who is coming into our great country and what they are up to. I know that when and if this infiltration is stopped that the American public will not stand for the deportation of millions of people, so lets all live in peaceful harmony.
