I am concerned about the President’s ability!
If you have spent any time watching President Joe Biden addressing TV news, you should have noticed that he stumbles and garbles words and is failing to finish his train of thought in front of the cameras.
And, he has done things as president that make me wonder where he got the advice for that mission. Not only do I wonder about his ability, but those who are advising him. I pray that he will be able to lead us for the next three plus years, and we remain safe and secure. He now is also not taking questions from the press at news conferences.
The Junior Senator from New Jersey, Cory Booker put it this way on CNN: “There is a lot of people concerned about Joe Biden’s ability to carry the ball across the end line without fumbling.”
Right now I am thinking about the $3.5 trillion spending bill. I would like to quote Star Parker from his CURE America TV show about the spending bill.
“The spending bill proposed by President Joe Biden and his progressive friends on the left called ‘Human Infrastructure Bill’ is being debated in Congress right now. Most of it is to build the socialist paradise that Senate Budget Chairman Bernie Sanders and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dream about, new household entitlements, new employer mandates, Medicare benefits expansion and all kinds of corporate welfare subsidies in the name of the Green New Deal and industrial policy spending.
“The last thing the American people need is a slowed down economy with a bloated federal government that sends us further into debt. We can’t afford it! The result will be higher taxes on corporations and on capital gains and when corporations have to pay more, then you and I have to pay more in gas prices, in food prices, in goods and services these companies provide. It is a disastrous way to approach an already troubled economy post Covid.”
A piece that I got from the National Republican Senatorial Committee stated: “A recent poll just found that over 20 percent of Biden voters regret voting for him in the 2000 election.”
Greg Ganske (R) a former member of Congress from Iowa, plastic surgeon, retired Army Lieutenant wrote in the Des Moines Register: “Joe Biden isn’t the person I knew in Congress. He should get cognitive testing with the results made public.
“If the president passes, as did Donald Trump, it will relieve many people who worry about a calamitous miscalculation.”
Ganske was right, but a big miscalculation has already occurred with the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and who ever advised Biden on that move needs to be put into an institution.
So, as I drive around this part of our great country, I see more and more Trump signs being installed alongside of the ones that were left over from the election of a year ago. There is one sign along highway 63, near Richardson, which is very distasteful against Biden. But, there are not many Biden signs in this area. I know of a couple near my home and last Friday I went to Boyceville for lunch and as I was entering Buckshots, I notice a faded Biden/Harris bumper sticker on a blue van.
So there is still support for the president in this area and maybe all those others that support him, the silent majority, are waiting for the next election to show that support.
