Biden didn’t take their advice!
Last week I blamed President Joe Biden’s advisors for the failed Afghanistan pull out that left 13 American Service personnel dead and how many people outside of the military that are in danger and are stuck in that desolate country.
But, as of last Tuesday I found out that the president did get the right advise from the army brass, but he chose to ignore the advise he was given about the pullout of troops.
On Tuesday, September 28, top generals testified before Congress and told the House that they urged the president not to withdraw from Afghanistan.
According to Politico; “Top generals told lawmakers under oath that they advised the president early this year to keep several thousand troops in Afghanistan, directly contradicting the president’s comments in August that no one warned him not to withdraw troops from that country.
“The remarkable testimony pits top military brass against the commander-in-chief as the Biden administration continues to face tough questions about what critics are calling a botched withdrawal that directly led to the deaths of 13 American service members, scenes of chaos at the Kabul airport, and the abandonment of American citizens and at-risk Afghans in the war-torn country.”
The commander of U.S. Central Command, General McKenzie told the Senate Armed Services Committee that he recommended maintaining 2,500 troops in Afghanistan earlier this year. But, in the fall of 2020 he advised the Trump administration that the U.S. should maintain a force of 4,500 troops.
So, the president called the withdrawal of troops “an extraordinary success”, but we all know it was not and the results of this mess has the probability of coming back and biting us in the butt. I am refering to the millions of dollars of military equipment left behind by the withdrawal.
So, that move fell flat, cost lives, and we are not getting the entire story, as we are not getting the whole truth about his open borders that are bringing thousands of people into this country, not only at our southern border, but the number of Afghans that were rescued as our troops left. Reports have it that 13,000 are being housed at Fort McCoy near Tomah, Wisconsin. We reported last week about the criminal action of a couple of those imports at that fort.
Calls to resign: Last week Tennessee Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn called on Joe Biden to resign for making false statements about the commanders’ advice. “Biden lied when he told ABC News personality George Stephanopoulos no one advised him against his timeline-based withdrawal. His recklessness results in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members and abandonment of countless citizens and allies. Biden can’t avoid the consequences of his actions. He must resign,” Blackburn tweeted.
And, we are not getting the dope on the president’s $3.5 trillion dollar spending bill that he claims will not cost us anything. And, if you believe that, you better take another look and the increasing cost of supporting yourself and your family since Biden took over the government.
Things don’t look good for us common people.
