THE BRIDGE STOP convenience store and gas station received extensive damage last Tuesday afternoon, July 13 when the driver of this truck crashed into the building.

THE BRIDGE STOP convenience store and gas station received extensive damage last Tuesday afternoon, July 13 when the driver of this truck crashed into the building. Allegedly, the male driver ran a stop sign while heading west on State Road 170, proceeded into the intersection with State Highway 25 when he struck a trailer being pulled by another truck, glanced off and went on to crash head on into the gas station. A worker in the store was injured. The Boyceville Fire Department and Colfax Ambulance responded to the scene shortly before 1 p.m. —photo submitted
