The Boyceville Fire Department responded to a Round Baler on fire just south of Wheeler on June 18 where the fire had spread form the baler into the wind rolls of down hay. Other fire departments providing assistance were Colfax, Menomonie, Glenwood City and United Fire.
The Glenwood City Fire Department was called to help the Clear Lake Department early Saturday morning for a house fire in the 1800 block on County Road D in Forest.
The name of the owner of the property was not available to this newspaper at press time. The home received considerable fire and water damage.
