IN THE DEEP FREEZE — Although it was only two degrees below zero Fahrenheit Saturday morning, February 6, in Colfax, the windchill was in the -20 range. The subzero temperature also marked the beginning of what weather forecasters say could be an extended cold spell lasting until the end of the month.
