St. Croix County Public Health is excited to announce the launch of their new COVID-19 Data Dashboard. The new dashboard was launched on December 17, 2020 in response to the public need for more information around local COVID-19 data.
“As we continue to learn more about COVID-19 and more data is available, St. Croix County Public Health wants to make sure that we are sharing this important information about the impact of COVID-19 in our communities. This new dashboard is a great tool to help us keep everyone informed about what is happening locally with this pandemic.” said Kelli Engen, St. Croix County Public Health Administrator
The previous dashboard, launched in June of 2020, provided St. Croix County residents with important local information about COVID-19. Since the launch of the previous dashboard we have gathered feedback about the data St. Croix County was displaying and the functionality of the dashboard. Public Health made the decision to expand upon the data that is collected and displayed and to improve the user experience on mobile devices.
“We developed this dashboard because we knew that our current dashboard had limitations and we wanted to improve upon the knowledge and data that we were sharing about COVID-19 in St. Croix County.” said Elizabeth Klasen, St. Croix County Epidemiologist (LTE)
The new dashboard features more in-depth information and graphs on a variety of data points including:
• Total COVID-19 cases
• Percentage of residents testing positive for COVID-19
• Hospitalizations
• Deaths
• Information about Public Health’s response to the pandemic
• Links to more information about testing, what to do if you test positive or are a close contact, and answers to frequently asked questions.
We will continue to improve upon how we deliver data about COVID-19and inform the residents of St. Croix County.
You can read the data FAQs on the St. Croix County website for more information. The new dashboard is available from the COVID-19 section of the St. Croix County website.
