Boyceville School District to honor Veterans November 11

Although there will be no public ceremonies held at the Boyceville Schools this year to mark Veterans Day, the district is moving forward with a virtual celebration to honor veterans next Wednesday, November 11.

High School/Middle School principal Tyler Moy said that members of the local American Legion and VFW host have been invited to gather at the flag pole outside the school. Meanwhile inside the building, high school students will give a couple of readings over the intercom, the national anthem will be sung and the Pledge of Allegiance recited. The band is also expected to play a musical number.

Moy said the ceremony may be livestream and Zoomed, if possible, to the public. Check the district’s website,  www.boyceville.k12.wi.us, for details.
