Building a Better Boyceville
To continue to make Boyceville a great place to live and go to school we BHS graduates must continually strive to financially support and improve the educational & career opportunities for future BHS graduates.
Whatever your career job position, when you are asked what your primary job is, your BEST (pun intended) answer should always be:
“To train my replacement!”
Because by properly training your replacement/relief you are “passing down the line” the invaluable lessons of experience and your constant quest to improve your own personal performance.
Due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc. (AOPA) High School Aviation STEM curriculum, that was to be instituted at BHS for the Fall 2020 incoming Freshmen Class, unfortunately had to be rescheduled to commence with the Fall 2021 BHS Freshmen Class.
This curriculum will become a four year opportunity for the incoming Fall 2021 Freshmen to participate in to enable them to apply STEM principles to real world aviation related scenarios.
Please share the link below with your Boyceville area family and friends and encourage them to participate in the free 17 Nov. 2020 Tuesday evening 90 minute AOPA Symposium for educators, but parents who are actively involved with their children’s education should also attend.
The better the Boyceville community understands this unique and innovative curriculum and makes their children aware of this BHS program will ensure the success and acceptance of cutting edge career exploration information at the high school level.
Go Bulldogs into the wild blue yonder and on to the stars!
