Lofty Acres Dairy and Brothers Country Mart collaborate to recognize essential workers during COVID-19
During this unprecedented time, there are many in our community who are proving to be not only “essential,” but true examples of service and kindness. At Glenhaven, there are 80 staff members who daily care for the most vulnerable members of our community.
At the Glenwood City School District, there are 22 staff who report daily to prepare and deliver meals to students and families in need throughout the school district.
To recognize and honor those “essential workers” for their selfless service during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Mary Blaser of Brothers Country Mart of Downing and Charl Draxler of Lofty Acres Dairy in Glenwood City, presented gift certificates of appreciation to these two groups of workers.
The gift certificates are for these diligent workers to pick up a pizza from Brothers Country Mart. In addition to showing our heartfelt gratitude, these certificates also help to support local businesses and dairy farmers and dairy products.
