With COVID-19, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue is asking its customers to use its many online tax and other service tools at www.revenue.wi.gov rather than in-person visits to its customer service centers.
“Many of the services we offer in our walk-in customer service centers are available through our website,” said DOR Secretary Peter Barca. “Serving Wisconsin taxpayers is our priority, but when health issues arise, we must adjust our services to best protect the safety and well-being of everyone involved. Our new favorite saying at DOR is get out of line and go online.”
To help Wisconsin taxpayers fulfill their DOR business needs during this unique time, the agency has compiled a list of “quick links” to complete needed tax tasks without need for an in-person visit.
