COLFAX — A 21-year-old Colfax woman has died in a Town of Grant car crash.
The victim of the accident on county Highway W on Wednesday, March 18, has been identified as Tina Mae Agema.
According to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol Northwest Region Eau Claire Post, the crash occurred on county Highway W northbound at county Highway S sometime before 5:30 a.m. last Wednesday.
The Dunn County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call at 5:25 a.m. from a passerby reporting a one vehicle crash in which the vehicle had struck a tree on Highway W at county Highway S in the Town of Grant.
A state patrol trooper and Dunn County sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, and upon arrival, they discovered the 21-year-old female driver to be deceased.
The driver of the 2010 Jeep Patriot was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the news release.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
