INJURED AS CAR RUNS INTO TRACTOR—A 65-year-old Amery woman received cuts and bruises when the vehicle she was driving ran into an Allis Chalmers tractor her son, William Bow, was driving. The accident happened about noon on Saturday, September 28 on County Road D near 130 Avenue south of Emerald. Deborah Bow who was driving a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup apparently fell asleep and struck the rear of the tractor and overturned her vehicle on to its side trapping her inside. Glenwood City Ambulance and Fire personal worked to remove her from the vehicle. She received cuts and bruises. Neither, William Boe nor three-year-old, Terran C. Bow, who was riding in a child seat in the pickup, or six-year-old Jace D. Bow who was riding on the tractor were injured. —photo by Shawn DeWitt
